Smaller November Mass

November is the Month of Remembering

Remembering all those

who have been born to Eternal Life

The Month of November is traditionally the month in which the Catholic Church remembers and prays for our departed loved ones who have been called to Eternal Life.

It ‘enables us to reconnect with all those whom we love, but who have died.

As well, it invites us into solidarity with the dead throughout history…’

We also pray for those who have “gone before us marked with the sign of faith”.

Sunday 11 November 2018 — 10am Mass at St Patrick’s, Asquith

will be offered for all who have lost someone from their life,

especially those who have lost someone from over the last year.

During the Month of November you are requested

to try to say the following prayer daily:

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

This year, November 11 also marks the

Centenary of Armistice 1918-2018

Please remember those who have died

in service of country and their families.
